The Lionfish 301 condominium at Lawson Rock well exceeded our expectations.  Compared to other places we have stayed on the island, this place was spectacular and was by far the most beautiful place we have stayed.  It is very spacious and clean.  Every amenity was available and we were spoiled – right down to fresh picked flowers throughout and cotton robes on our beds when we arrived.  The private rooftop pool was stunning! Lawson Rock provides so many other fabulous details to list!

Some of the known limitations of the island include sporadic loss of power (no a/c), inadequate security and safety, and lack of clean water.  Lawson Rock provides back up generator power.  We never knew the rest of the island was without power!  We had unlimited purified water delivered to our condo as needed.  Security guards were present everywhere on the premises, giving us the peace of mind needed to relax and enjoy our vacation.  I call the cleaning crew ‘invisible’.  We never saw them, but our condo was kept neat and clean.

Snorkeling and swimming at Lawson Rock’s beach and marina was awesome!  We saw hundreds of colorful fish right off the beach.  We were amazed to see octopus, lobster, enormous starfish, eagle rays, and many different species of coral, just to name a few.  Lawson Rock provided kayaks and snorkeling gear for our use.

The restaurant Qué Tal? Cafe on the premises was wonderful.  Great breakfasts and healthy quick lunches are available, as well as sushi to order. 

Starting with greeting us at the airport, Ellen and Clarissa were ever present and always available for all of our needs.  They assisted with renting our vehicle, provided local phone service, gave recommendations to great island restaurants and excursions.  Just downright good people! 
Lawson Rock is highly recommended with five star accommodations.  Nowhere on the island will you find beautiful landscape, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly smiles from the staff along with their eagerness to assist us in any way.  We are definitely coming back!
